 Mending Broken Spirits

    In a manner of seconds

One day can break you to the point of no return

Your mind becomes weary

Your body becomes weak

And

Your spirit seems broken beyond repair

For this moment in time you think

Will I come out of this alive

The answer……I have

At last you realize

A light at the tunnels dark end

Spiritual food for your Mind

Spiritual food for your Body

And

Spiritual food for your Spirit

Constantly lingering

Are

The thoughts of yesterday, which shall never be forgotten

Each new day is the beginning of mending my memories

Though, I will never forget yesterday

In mending

I will look forward to the light of today, which will shine on my new path moving forward

THE IMAGE OF ME

As I stand in front of the mirror, I see a person before me

My face

 My lips

 My eyes

The photo I present to the world, the image of me

When you look at me, what do you see?

My exterior, which is not the all of me

Close your eyes, now look at me again Now can you see me? All of me?

Can you feel my thoughts and see the true beauty of me......My heart through my eyes that mirror my soul

 The real me

The essence of my inner being which houses ones true beauty

Now, dare yourself, allow yourself to go deeper

From today forward, let this be the beginning, the beginning of looking at not only the person but also the truth behind the image you see

TODAY IS THE DAY

If tomorrow was the opportunity to live today again what would you change?

Is there something you wanted to say but didn't

Is there something you wanted to do but didn't make the time

Is there a phone call you didn't make because you forgot

Is there someone you didn't kiss

Is there someone that needs to hear, I'm sorry because you didn't say it

Is there someone you forgot to tell, "I love you."

Since today is no different than any other, please remember,

tomorrow is never promised and if it is, you can't relive today

CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THIS

A man who judges by the presence of the soul, not the flesh of the body, is a man who has traveled many journeys.

He has learned that a woman is not what you see but what you feel in her presence and the essence of her being.

She has the ability to be a part of you at all times. She is invisible to the naked eye but visible to the man who is connected to her soul.

Gone are the days of: Wanting, Wishing and Waiting

Here are the days of: Having, Holding and Cherishing

From this day forward, the best is yet to come.

Are you a man who understands......
