BACK TO THE BASICS

As last year is now history, today is the start of new beginnings

There are many people who are asking, where do we go from here?

A simple suggestion, go back to the basics

The basics where ethics and commitment to self was more important than how you look or what type of vehicle you drive

The basics where knowing your self worth, having pride and an honorable character were a common way of life

The basics where children were taught to respect their elders  

The basics where a man understood what it means to respect a woman

The basics where a woman understood the meaning of self respect

The basics where a woman was put on a pedestal and treated like a queen by a man who considered himself a king

What happened to this type of behavior?

Can people who know about the basics encourage those who don’t?

Will people who don’t know embrace the idea?

Will the basics remain a thing of the past or can the basics become the new wave of the future?

Will you make the choice to ignite change?

Or  

Will you allow things to remain the same?
